In this study, we want to look at the health effects on people who vape CBD or hemp-derived THC, such as Delta8-THC or Delta10-THC. In these vaping liquids, metals, terpenes, pesticides, and microbial products have been identified. The purpose of this research study is to study chemical exposures and biological changes within the airways of THC vapers compared to non-users.
THC users will participate over 4-6 weeks. There will be two in-person visits. This study entails blood, urine, and nasal epithelial lining fluid (NELF) collection at our facility. While also collecting your own NELF samples at home with provided kits. The last part of this study is your responsibility to document your THC use in a provided journal daily. Non-users will complete a single study that entails blood, urine, and nasal epithelial lining fluid (NELF) collection at our facility. Each in-person visit will last approximately 1-1.5 hours.
Up to $220 for THC users & 75$ for Non-users
