Olfaction Awareness

The aim of this study is to address this gap in knowledge regarding olfactory perception and function. The study will involve patients taking an online survey through RedCap to assess for subjective olfaction awareness, in addition to taking the University of Pennsylvania Smell Identification Test (UPSIT) to assess for objective olfaction function. In doing so, we hope to gain a better understanding of how to better approach the possible treatments in olfaction dysfunction and improve awareness of olfaction function to potentially improve quality of life, memory, and safety.
