Statewide Surveys of Public Libraries' Response to the Opioid Epidemic

Public libraries across the U.S. are seeing the effects of the epidemic. In cities such as Denver, CO and Philadelphia, PA, library and security staff are being trained to administer naloxone at their libraries. We are seeking to understand how the opioid epidemic is affecting public libraries and their staff in North Carolina. We are seeking to extend this study to Delaware, a smaller state in a nearby region, to observe differences and similarities in responses.
