Acute Myeloid Leukemia Study

This is a research study for people newly diagnosed with or suspected of having either acute myelogenous leukemia or high risk myeloid neoplasm. Depending on your specific type of leukemia, our study team will determine the substudy that is the best fit for you to receive medication for your leukemia.

60 years ~ 99 years
Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
Visits can be combined with regular clinical appointments

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

You will receive medication depending on the type of leukemia you have at each visit. Each visit will include blood tests to monitor your health and response to treatment, a physical exam, and questions about how you are feeling. Bone marrow biopsies are required at different time points throughout the study.

Study Medication, Meal reimbursement as applicable, lodging reimbursement as applicable.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

You have been newly diagnosed with Leukemia or your leukemia has returned.
You are 60 years old or older.

Not eligible if:

You have active central nervous system leukemia
You have a bleeding disorder.
