The Carolina Blue Project is a UNC study to learn more about work-related stress, eating behaviors, and cardiovascular disease risk factors among North Carolina and nearby states law enforcement officers.
Participants will complete an anonymous online survey (about 1 to 1.5 hours time). Participation also involves a 15-minute in-person assessment at your law enforcement department or the UNC Biobehavioral lab. The assessment includes measures of your height, weight, waist/hip circumferences, and blood pressure. We will also take a drop of blood from your finger for measurements of your fasting blood triglycerides, HDL/LDL cholesterol, and glucose level.
