Simulation Games in China: The Fiction Built upon the Real-world

In this research, I am interested in the evolution and impact of simulation games in contemporary China, and how the explosive and periodical popularity of simulation games relates to the faster pace of Chinese society and the psychological needs of the public. I want to find out how the simulation games, originated in the US and Japan, quickly adopted and developed in the Chinese Game industry and the reasons behind Chinese young people's addiction to them. Besides, I wonder how simulation games influence the quality of people's real-world activities such as human-to-human relationships, personality changes, and living skills.
