The purpose of this study is to characterize sleep and to examine the associations between sleep and psychological outcomes after ACL reconstruction
If you agree to participate in our research study, you will be asked to come to the Psychology of Sport Injury Lab in Fetzer Hall on UNC at Chapel Hill's campus for an initial testing session. This session will include screening, assessments, and smart ring sleep tracker set up. The purpose of the initial assessment and screening session (~1 hour) is to explain the study, ensure you meet all inclusion criteria, complete questionnaires about your knee health. We will also set up the Oura ring on your phone. You will wear the ring for a total of 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, you will return to the PSI Lab for your post assessment to return the ring and complete questionnaires (~1 hour). At this visit, you will be scheduled for a virtual interview that will be 30-45 minutes.
