Understanding Skill in Procedural Activities from Egocentric and Exocentric Cameras

This study aims to understand how humans perform skill-based activities (e.g., basketball drills, playing the piano, soccer, etc.) by collecting visual data on those activities. If you have at least 1 year of experience in playing basketball, soccer, or any musical instrument, you might be a good fit for this study!

Age & Gender

  • 21 years ~ 85 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Extended hours (M-F, early morning or evening)
  • Weekend hours, if needed

Location

United States (Nationwide)

What will be asked of you

You will be asked to perform one of three activities: (1) perform several basketball drills, (2) perform several soccer drills, (3) play a musical instrument. You can choose beforehand, which activity you would like to perform.

Incentives

Up to $40 depending on the skill level

Total length of participation:
30 minutes

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • At least 1 year of experience of playing basketball.
  • At least 1 year of experience of playing soccer.
  • At least 1 year of experience of playing any musical instrument.

Not eligible if:

  • No experience playing basketball, soccer or any musical instrument.
