Study of Activist Artists' Use of Information

The purpose of this study is to explore professional artists' use of artwork to capture and make sense of information. The study will take a constructivist and transformative approach and will focus on artists who use their art as an act of resistance or activism for social and political change. Through this research I seek to encourage a broader conceptualization of non-text information.
