Civic engagement amongst formerly incarcerated Black women in North Carolina

This is a research study to learn more about how being incarcerated impacts Black women's desire to be civically engaged. We want to understand if coming in contact with the criminal justice system makes Black women more or less likely to engage with politics at any level. This includes voting, attending town halls, or protesting and community organizing.
