Partnering to Enhance Services for Trafficking Survivors

To help develop evaluation capacity in the anti-trafficking field, our UNC-CH research group formed a partnership with Safe Horizon's Anti-Trafficking Program (SH-ATP). Together, our SH-ATP and UNC-CH team is conducting a formative evaluation of SH-ATP. The formative evaluation includes three activities. (1) Service Evaluation: A quantitative analysis of service trends using the program's data from ~800 SH-ATP clients. (2) Implementation Evaluation: The development and pilot testing of an instrument concerning program implementation with SH-ATP staff to examine how SH-ATP staff members' frontline work contributes to client outcomes. (3) Outcome Evaluation: A preliminary evaluation focused on gathering client outcome data using survey methods with active SH-ATP clients.
