Physician Benefit and Loss in Global Neurosurgery

The aim of the study is to assess the personal and financial benefits and costs for physicians of engaging in global neurosurgery. While the need for this is demonstrated, whether there is a clear benefit to doing global work from the physician's perspective has not been established. The study will analyze the financial implications as well as personal gains, emotional tolls and burn out experienced by physicians that participate in global neurosurgery.
