Public Trust in Nonprofits Study

The purpose of this research study is to develop a definition of public trust in nonprofits to compare with current practitioners' understanding of public trust. It is also to determine what value is placed on public trust for any reason. Because of how often public trust is referred to by nonprofits, this study is to fill a gap in the nonprofit literature and help practitioners better understand public trust and why it is often listed as a core value of nonprofit organizations.
