Crime, Clientelism in Brazil & Argentina

Purpose: The purpose of this study is two-fold: 1) to determine what leads citizens to vote for tough-on-crime candidates, and 2) to understand why voters comply with brokers during clientelist interactions in which political party operatives pay for their clients' votes.
