KneeBRIGHT Focus Groups: Physical Therapists and Patient Perspectives

This project is designed to get valuable feedback from physical therapists and patient groups for a video game product for knee rehabilitation. It is a sub study of an overall project that includes a clinical trial on the effect of the implementation of the video game. KneeBright is an EMG driven video game platform for rehabilitation for knee osteoarthritis. This custom program was developed to complement lower extremity strengthening.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 75 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

List of leading questions: a. Would you or other patients benefit from this game? b. How does this compare with traditional rehab? c. Does it look like fun? d. What patient population would you NOT use this game? e. What barriers would you see for using this game? f. Open thoughts / Free Talking g. Does the game look like it would cause you pain or soreness?

Incentives

$50 per session up to $100 total.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Board Certified PT
  • Knee Osteoarthritis

Not eligible if:

  • Do not have cognitive ability to consent
