Patient rating of pain and function after bilateral carpal tunnel surgery

While some patients have carpal tunnel syndrome only on one side (either their right or left wrist/hand), others have it on both sides. These patients might need two separate surgeries - one on each wrist. Some patients report worse pain after their second surgery compared to the first. The purpose of this study is to figure out if people have more pain after their second surgery or after their first.
