The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between alcohol consumption history and immune responses. We are examining whether people with different drinking histories have different patterns of immune reactivity, based on blood measurements. Participants will be asked to attend one visit to UNC for a blood sample and questionnaires. Total time of participation is estimated at 2-3 hours.
You'll come to UNC for one visit that includes a blood draw (approximately 25ml) and answering questions/questionnaires. Study procedures are expected to last 2-3 hours in total, and we will schedule a time to confirm your eligibility by phone prior to the visit.
$50 upon completion of study procedures, including the visit to UNC.
