Values, Opinions, and Language Study

This study is interested in how speakers of different languages respond to opinion questions in online survey studies. We are asking Arabic and/or English speakers to answer questions in a survey about a variety of topics, including: science and technology; happiness and well-being; government and public institutions; and attitudes and stereotypes. Additionally, we are asking questions about how people use language in their daily lives. This research will help inform how we design survey questions for international studies that span multiple countries, languages, and cultures.
