Development of a diversity, equity, and inclusion curriculum for residency programs

While diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are important to the missions of both the UNC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) and Pediatrics residency programs, there is continued need for advancing DEI curricula for residents to engage in during their residency training. Therefore, UNC Med-Peds program is creating a curriculum to provide residents with the opportunity to gain knowledge on current DEI issues, a safe place to discuss these issues, and the skills to counteract these issues in the workplace.
