Collection of Tissue, Blood, Urine, Hair, and Saliva for Research Related to Patients with Genitourinary Malignancies

This is a research study to collect specimens that may develop new tests that find diseases, or new ways to treat diseases.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)

What will be asked of you

The study involves a blood draw, collection of a urine sample and saliva. If you are already scheduled for a surgical procedure as part of your routine cancer care and extra tissue may be removed for this study.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • You have cancer or a benign disease of the kidneys, bladder, or prostate.
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are willing to have blood, urine, and tumor tissue collected and stored

Not eligible if:

  • You are unable to complete the informed consent.
  • You require general anesthesia for biopsy collection.
  • You have a history of allergic reaction to local anesthesia or medications used for conscious sedation.
  • You are a woman who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
