Diabetes Weight Loss Study

This is a research study to see how well CagriSema works to reduce body weight in people with Type 2 Diabetes when compared to Tirzepatide.

What will be asked of you

If you decide to take part in this study, you must be willing to use an injection pen to self-inject medication in your abdomen, thighs or upper arms. You will also fill out questionnaires about your mental health and about your medical history.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

You have Type 2 Diabetes
Your BMI is at least 30 kg/m2
HbA1c between 7.0% and 10.5%
Stable on antidiabetic medication at time of study (>90 days)

Not eligible if:

You are pregnant, or intend to become pregnant, or not using a highly effective contraceptive method.
You have renal impairment
On treatment or previous treatment for obesity in the past 90 days
Uncontrolled or unstable diabetic retinopathy or maculopathy
You have an unstable chronic condition that might make it unsafe to be in the study
