South-Asian Perception on Being Promoted to Leadership Positions

The purpose of this study is to understand that despite the fact that South-Asians successfully make up a large portion of leadership positions (such as executive managerial titles) in Fortune 500 companies, do they still feel disadvantaged or prejudiced against in their experience to reach these high-level positions. To understand this, I am interviewing South-Asian individuals in the corporate sector to understand their ongoing journey to leadership or their technical professional experience to find commonly perceived themes in their journey. This study will serve to prove insights on how to create a more cohesive and welcoming path to leadership positions for South-Asians.
