Body and Social Behavior Study

This study is investigating biological changes related to immune system activation. We are looking for UNC-CH students ages 18-35 to participate in a research study examining how individuals experience social situations when their immune systems are activated. The study consists of receiving the annual influenza vaccine, getting a blood draw, bringing a friend to have a conversation with, completing various computer tasks, and an online questionnaire. Two study sessions occur over two consecutive days. Your first session is at the UNC Clinical Translational Research Center (CTRC; 1 hour), and your second session is the next day in Howell Hall (2 hours). Participants will be paid $75 for completion, with a chance to earn up to $10 in bonus money based on one of the computer tasks.
