Post Thrombotic Syndrome Study

A team approach looking at two approved treatments for participants with Post Thrombotic Syndrome

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Visits can be combined with regular clinical appointments

What will be asked of you

At each visit, you'll meet with a member of the study team and fill out questionnaires, be seen by the physician, and have your current PTS symptoms managed. The study also involves about 2 blood draws, ultrasound studies, and a willingness to come to the clinic in person at least a few times.

Incentives

$100 per completed follow-up visit to cover time and travel, beginning at 2-month follow-up, Compression stockings

In-person visits:
2-3 depending on treatment assignment. All other visits are remote.

6 months

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • Moderate to Severe Post Thrombotic Syndrome (leg heaviness, fatigue, swelling, ulcer, aching or pain)
  • History of deep vein thrombosis (blood clot)

Not eligible if:

  • You are less than 18 years of age.
