The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the "Resilience through Improved Support and Empowerment after Surgery" (RISES) program. This program is designed to provide post-operative services (social support, food security, durable medical equipment) to trauma surgery patients who have unmet social needs being discharged from UNC Hospital.
