Attitudes and Knowledge of Postpartum Nurses Collaborating with Volunteer Doulas

Accordingly, the purpose of this project is to identify attitudes and experiences that postpartum nurses have had with doulas during the postpartum period to inform practices to further collaboration and effective patient-centered care. Doula care has been found to be beneficial to patient outcomes, but that is only possible when all members of the healthcare team are working together effectively to support patient outcomes.
