The purpose of this phenomenological study is to describe the work being done by youth services librarians in North Carolina who are actively working to serve LGBTQ+ youth. This study aims to answer three research questions: 1) How are youth service librarians in North Carolina working to serve LGBTQ+ youth? 2) What information are they using to make decisions about these services? 3) How do they assess these services?
