The purpose of this study is to understand the interactions of sexually transmitted infections with human genital secretions and to develop improved methods of blocking infections at these mucus barriers
At each visit, women will be asked to insert a dispoable menstrual cup into the vagina, and leave it for several minutes. They will then remove and place the cup into a provided plastic container, and fill out a questionnaire. Men will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and then provided a plastic container. They may either collect a semen sample and home and bring it to campus if they can transport it in under an hour, or can use a private room on campus to collect the sample.
$30 per sample
