The Epistemic Exclusion of Blackademics in Mass Communication

The purpose of this study is to acknowledge how academic gatekeepers facilitate epistemic exclusion of Blackademics and race-related scholarship, and document how black scholars have used non-traditional channels, specifically Twitter and public-facing scholarship to legitimize their work.
