Fado reception among Portuguese individuals

I am seeking to gain insight regarding contemporary reception of Amália Rodrigues by Portuguese individuals, and how that perception reflects current social movements and ideologies, particularly in the context of a world impacted by COVID-19. I am interested in what this reception may reveal regarding the relationship between music, gender, society, and politics.
