LCCC 2054: Obesity, Frailty, and Age-Related Responses to Surgery and Treatment in Endometrial Cancer Patients

The purpose of this observational study is to follow Endometrial Cancer patients through standard of care treatment of their Endometrial Cancer and collect biomedical and patient reported outcomes data.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Female

Visit Availability

  • Standard business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Visits can be combined with regular clinical appointments

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

The study involves blood draws, tests to measure your muscle strength, completion of surveys (questionnaires); and collection of your clinical data from your medical records,

Incentives

You will receive a $50 gift card for taking part in this study

Up to a year post-treatment

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

  • you have a confirmed new diagnosis of stage I-IV endometrial cancer
  • you are able to read informed consent and willing to sign
  • you are biologically female, over the age of 18 years
  • you are able to speak, read, and write in English

Not eligible if:

  • you have already begun treatment for endometrial cancer
  • you have recurrent endometrial cancer
  • you are pregnant
  • you choose to forego treatment for endometrial cancer
  • you are less than 18 years of age
