What will be asked of you

Participants in this study will first complete online surveys about themselves, which will take approximately 60 minutes. Next, they will partake in a 3-4 hour study session at the UNC-CH Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC). During the session, participants will undergo a functional MRI (fMRI) scan. During the scan, participants will view health messages and complete a judgement task. After the scan, they will complete questionnaires about the health messages and will fill out additional self-report measures. Three months after the in-person session, participants will fill out a follow-up survey online, which will take 30-40 minutes.
