Tobacco and health messages research study

The purpose of this research study is to learn about messages about cigarettes and health.

Age & Gender

  • 18 years ~ 99 years
  • Male, Female, Gender Inclusive

Location

North Carolina (Statewide)

What will be asked of you

If you agree to take part in this research, you will be asked to take part in a focus group to discuss your opinion about some messages about the harms of cigarettes. Your participation in this study will take about 60-90 minutes. We expect that 72 people will take part in this research study.

Looking for Healthy Volunteers

Requirements for healthy volunteers are different than for those with a specific condition. If you are interested in becoming a healthy volunteer for this study, use the below categories to determine if you are able to participate.

Able to participate:

  • Cigarette smokers

Not eligible if:

  • do not have transportation to participate in a focus group
