How Caregivers are Part of the NICU Team

In the business world, we know that having a team that goes through various stages of teamwork makes them more successful and productive. In the healthcare setting, we have provider teams that do the same. In the neonatal intensive care unit, the parents or caregivers are an important team member, yet we are unsure if they go through these "teaming" stages. Our study will see if parents are moving through the stages of teaming in a predictable way, or if they are getting stuck and why.
