Standard Two Accredits You

Meeting Standard 2 provides NC county environmental health food programs a uniform way of recognizing and addressing risky behaviors in food facilities during inspections. Less than half of NC counties currently participate and some are losing interest in remaining a part of the program. This study seeks to increase long-term participation with Standard 2 among NC counties for state-wide uniform interpretation of food safety rules and quality food safety programs in NC counties.
