Purpose: Interarytenoid injection augmentation (IIA) is gaining popularity for both DIN and type I clefts, however, no study has demonstrated that this method helps in those patients with no significant abnormal findings but have aspiration and penetration on preoperative VFSS. This study reviews our patients and their outcomes after IIA. This will add to the literature of current cases and these patients do not require postoperative sedation and monitoring in ICU.
