Heart to Heart: BP Control Partners

The purpose of this research study is to see if home-based blood pressure monitoring when combined with team-based care led by your doctor's office can improve blood pressure levels in comparison to usual patterns of care. The long-term hope is to reduce risks for bad outcomes such as stroke by improving blood pressure control.

Cardiovascular workout for Depression, Stress, and Anxiety

The goal of this study is to examine the relationship between mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, and stress) and PAUSE-Cardio, a 6-week moderate-intensity cardiovascular exercise intervention program for women's sport student-athletes transitioning into college and collegiate sport. Under Purposeful, Authentic, and Unifying Student-Athlete Experiences (PAUSE) programming, this study is a cardiovascular comparison intervention with matched aims and methods to the ACC-CRIA funded PAUSE-Yoga study. This longitudinal study examines the feasibility and effectiveness of PAUSE-Cardio to mitigate anxiety, depression, and stress.

A study to see if memantine protects the brain during radiation therapy treatment for a brain tumor

The purpose of this study is to to determine the efficacy (as measured by Neurocognitive testing) of oral memantine administered for a period of 6 months, when compared to placebo, in children ages 4-18 receiving cranial or craniospinal radiotherapy for primary central nervous system tumors.
