And research can help us get there. Taking part in the All of Us Research Program involves sharing information about your health, habits, and what it's like where you live. If you are 18 or older and live in the United States, you may be able to take part!
Interested in a PrEP study? This is a study exploring a new, investigational HIV PrEP medication, Lenacapavir. This medication is given as an injection just under the skin, every 6 months or twice a year. We would like to find out how effective this new, investigational medication is in preventing HIV, in the hopes of expanding access and options for HIV PrEP.
Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause? Have you noticed a change in your mood during your menopausal transition? If you have missed at least two periods, you may be able to take part in a research study. In this study, we want to learn how mood and stress may affect risk for heart disease in women during menopause.
Do you want to help in the design of a new device that can electronically measure and track your strength? We are testing a new system that uses an electronic resistance exercise band and an 'app' designed for older adults to improve strength and prevent weakness. If you have an interest, you may be able to share your opinions on the device with us! We will provide $50 in gas card incentives.
Do you ever feel like your doctor doesn't hear or understand what your needs are? Does it feel like your doctor is always rushing you and there's never enough time to address what's really important in your health. You may be eligible to participate in a focus group study to find out more about what health issues doctors are missing during health appointments and how communication between patient and doctor can be improved.
In the Carolina Blue Project, we want to learn more about work-related stress, eating behaviors, and cardiovascular disease risk factors among law enforcement officers. If you work as a law enforcement officer in any North Carolina or nearby states law enforcement department, you may be able to take part in this study. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Officers who participate in the project and complete the two required steps will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
Are you a current or former smoker who is 50 years or older? You may be able to take part in a research study about lung cancer screening.
Being able to understand and measure communication development in young children is critical. Our team is adapting a tool to measure communication in young children with autism. If you have a young child (under 5 years old) with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of autism, you may be able to participate in this study. Compensation provided.
