In this study we are giving a survey to parents of 3 to 5 year old children to learn more about how they support their children's learning at home. We are interested in learning about different methods, contexts, and strategies for learning at home so we can develop future interventions for parents.
The mission of the Collaborative Islet Transplant Registry (CITR) is to expedite progress and promote safety in islet/beta cell transplantation through the collection, analysis, and communication of comprehensive and current data on all islet/beta cell transplants performed in North America, Europe and Australia.
To determine whether messages about the cancer risks of co-using alcohol and tobacco increase risk perceptions, perceived message effectiveness, knowledge, and tobacco quit intentions and decrease alcohol use intentions among individuals who co-use tobacco and alcohol.
Our UNC-CH School of Social Work (SSW) team aims to investigate how the COVID-19 crisis has impacted intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual violence and assault (SVA), and human trafficking (HT) services; and develop and refine guidelines for adapting IPV, SVA, and HT services in response to COVID-19 and other public health emergencies. We are assessing medical school student and interns' personal assessment of their medical school training and if it adequately prepared them for internship in Internal Medicine. We are doing this to assess perceived weaknesses in training prior to starting internship. We will then implement potential changes in the UNC system.
