Intravesical BCG vs GEMDOCE in NMIBC (BRIDGE)

This study is being done to answer the following question: Can we lower the chance of your bladder cancer growing or spreading by using one type of chemotherapy instilled in the bladder, Gemcitabine and Docetaxel, instead of the usual BCG therapy? We are doing this study because we want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for your bladder cancer. The usual approach is defined as care most people get for bladder cancer.

AALL1631: Imatinib Mesylate and Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

This randomized phase III trial studies how well imatinib mesylate and combination chemotherapy work in treating patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Imatinib mesylate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving imatinib mesylate and combination chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Motivating factors for physical activity

The purpose of this research study is to examine the intrinsic factors that motivate individuals to exercise. We will investigate whether psychological empowerment mediates the relationship between structural empowerment and physical activity behavior. Psychological empowerment is based on four cognitions: competence, meaning, impact, and choice. You are being asked to take part in a research study because you are between the ages of 18 and 26 and are a resident of the United States.
