This study will gather information through interviews with patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and providers. This information will tell us how to conduct a clinical trial in the future that will educate patients with advanced chronic kidney disease about hemodialysis vascular access.

Our study is evaluating the development of a course created by 3rd and 4th year medical students to teach 1st year medical students about COVID-19 and pandemics. We are conducting this study to better understand the relationship between access to care, financial stress and health related quality of life among cancer patients in NC who live in rural areas. We will be interviewing 30 rural cancer patients to learn about their cancer experience and we will be reviewing previously completed surveys about their distress and coping behaviors.
