August 9 @ 8:00 am - August 11 @ 5:00 pm UTC+11
One event on July 20, 2019 at 8:00 am
Join the ANZCA CTN in Manly, Sydney for the 2019 ANZCA Clinical Trial Network Strategic Research Workshop.
This three-day event brings together experienced and early career researchers, medical professionals and research co-ordinators from Australia, New Zealand and around the world.
Its objectives are to strengthen the collaborative approach to multicentre research in anaesthesia, perioperative and pain medicine; to encourage, promote and mentor researchers to engage in clinical research to improve patient outcomes; and to showcase the recent achievements and research activity of the ANZCA Clinical Trials Network.
Research4Me’s Dr Janelle Bowden will be a keynote speaker on the 11th August at this meeting, discussing the value of involving patients, health consumers and the public in clinical research (and preparing to do so).
Call for abstracts
The purpose of the workshop is to consider proposals for high quality trials that translate into safe and effective practice in anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain medicine. Single-centre studies will only be accepted if they are specifically designed to lead to multicentre research. The deadline for abstracts is July 1, 2019. See the event website for more information.
