We run workshops to help the public and research professionals learn to work together to improve clinical trials.

These workshops are an interactive learning experience, where researchers and members of the public work together in small groups, learning from each other and the facilitators, as well as becoming aware of the skills needed to better work together.

Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the different types of research and clinical trials
  • Understanding the drivers for public involvement in research & clinical trials
  • Understanding the opportunities for the public to be involved in research and clinical trials
  • Learning to work together – what are the considerations
  • A framework for getting started and making public involvement happen, both for the public, and for research professionals.

Our training can be tailored to suit the needs of an organisation, and we would be delighted to work with you to achieve the involvement you seek.

Register your interest in attending or hosting this training online, or contact us for a discussion of your specific needs.

Our events, and those of external groups that are research, innovation and/or public engagement focussed, are now available on our Events page.

For those that have an interest in what might have happened at events we were involved in or attended, we will often write up a summary of our thoughts and experiences via a blog post, so keep an eye out for those.
