Are you a young adult cancer survivor who would like to improve your health? Interested in using technology to support a healthy diet, get more physically active, and make healthy lifestyle changes? Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are looking for volunteers to sign up for a 3-month research program using a Fitbit activity tracker and mobile app to improve your physical activity and dietary habits.
The purpose of this study is to see if sacituzumab govitecan in combination with pembrolizumab can improve outcomes and delay the return of disease in participants with high-risk early TNBC when compared to pembrolizumab alone or pembrolizumab in combination with capecitabine.
This study is investigating biological changes related to immune system activation. We are looking for UNC-CH students ages 18-35 to participate in a research study examining how individuals experience social situations when their immune systems are activated. The study consists of receiving the annual influenza vaccine, getting a blood draw, bringing a friend to have a conversation with, completing various computer tasks, and an online questionnaire. Two study sessions occur over two consecutive days. Your first session is at the UNC Clinical Translational Research Center (CTRC; 1 hour), and your second session is the next day in Howell Hall (2 hours). Participants will be paid $75 for completion, with a chance to earn up to $10 in bonus money based on one of the computer tasks.
