Suicide Prevention Resources: Patient Perspectives

We are developing training materials to help community pharmacists talk with people about suicide prevention. Your input will help us understand what might make people feel more comfortable speaking to pharmacists when they are experiencing a crisis or approaching a pharmacist if they needed to talk to someone about suicide. We will use this information to help develop important content for future training and education relevant to pharmacists.

When Hurricanes go Viral

The study is seeking to understand how Eastern North Carolinians use social media to prepare for natural disasters, such as hurricanes or flooding. The study will inquire about your evacuation decision making and how this process is influenced by social media. The data for the study is being collected through an online survey and semi-structured interviews.

Equity in Precision Medicine (EquiP): Lung Cancer

Cancer care has been improved by the discovery of precision medicine - using molecular and genetic tests to determine the best treatments for an individual patient's tumor. We are doing this study to better understand how precision medicine is delivered. We also want to learn the barriers to precision medicine, particularly for underserved populations.

Transitions in sleep, mood, and behavior from pregnancy to postpartum

Some women develop mental health symptoms, such as anxiety or depression, after giving birth. The purpose of this research study is to follow pregnant women from pregnancy through 3 months postpartum to better understand the factors associated with these symptoms during pregnancy and after childbirth.
