We're exploring how a special protein supplement called β-hydroxy-methyl-butyrate (HMB for short) could improve mobility in older adults with weakness. It involves just five in-person visits over 12 weeks.

Do you participate in a varsity, club, or intramural sport? Have you sustained a concussion within the past year? If you are a UNC student that participates in sport and sustained a concussion within the past year, you may be able to participate in a study to examine associations between social support, perceived stress, fear of movement, and concussion.

Do you identify as South Asian and do you menstruate? Do you identify as South Asian and do you use or have you consider using contraception or birth control? Have you experienced bias when discussing menstruation or contraception? If so, you may be interested in this study to improve reproductive justice for South Asians in the United States.

You and your child may be able to take part in a study designed to help us learn more about what children eat. During several visits that include surveys, taste tests, blood draws and even a brain image, we can learn more about the eating behaviors of children. Compensation provided.
