Brands that Bind: How party brands constrain the effectiveness of blurred electoral appeals.

The purpose of this study is develop our understanding of how voters respondent to ambiguous and ambivalent electoral appeals. In particular, it will focus on how the issue on which the party is making appeals, the respondents relationship with that party, and the strategy used combine to result in heterogenous responses.

How Teachers Learn

The proposed project seeks to further our understanding of how teachers improve over time-and specifically how white teachers can become more effective teachers to students of color-by bridging three previously distinct literatures in education research: the returns to teaching experience, teacher peer effects, and the impacts of racial representation in the teaching force.

Exploring How Playing Tyto Online Contributes to Science Content Knowledge and Argumentation Skills

The goal of this study is to examine how playing a science-based RPG contributes to the science content and scientific argumentation skills of middle school students. For this study, middle school students will be recruited to play through the first two modules of the game and take a few short assessments on science content knowledge and argumentation skills. Quantitate analysis of their assessment scores will be combined with qualitative analyses of their gameplay to explore how the game contributes to student learning.

Fentanyl test strip survey

To assess NC community pharmacists' awareness of fentanyl test strips, assess fentanyl test strip instruction preferences, comfort in educating patients about fentanyl test strips as well as referring patients to harm reduction organizations that provide fentanyl test strips.
