We are surveying family medicine physicians in the state of North Carolina about their understanding of and familiarity with providing transgender healthcare.
In this research study, we want to learn more about how social camouflage ("masking") affects well-being in adults with autism. The study pays particular attention to the role of LGBTQ+ identity in autistic masking.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how people perceive viewers of women's sports. In this study, we will interview people who have personal experience watching and participating in women's sports.
The purpose of this study is to explore Black parents' or caregivers' ethnic racial socialization practices among their Black children with a diagnosed disability. Specifically, we are interested in understanding how parents/caregivers prepare their child for racial and/or ableist biases, instill ethnic/racial pride, and promote mistrust of other racial/ethnic groups, typically members from the dominant group. We are also interested in learning more about how these practices may impact children's mental health and academic engagement outcomes.
The purpose of this research study is to learn about people's reasons for drinking alcohol. We will do this by testing a new survey and asking people to tell us their opinions about the individual survey questions and the survey overall. The information we learn from this study will help us to improve survey questions so we can do a better job of asking people about their reasons for drinking alcohol in future studies.
The purpose of this study is to better understand how young adults (ages 18 - 39) who have had cancer use entertainment media during and after cancer treatment.

At the lab sessions, we will invite you to have conversations about specific topics you might routinely discuss with your partner and ask you about your thoughts and feelings related to those conversations.
Are you an endometrial cancer survivor that wants to improve your lifestyle? Do you wonder about how different types of sitting (work, transport, TV viewing etc.) may have different cardiovascular disease risk? Are you interested in helping researchers to design a sedentary behavior reduction intervention specifically for endometrial cancer survivors? You may be able to participate in a research study to find out which type of sitting may be associated with cardiovascular disease risk and how to best reduce the behavior. Compensation provided.
