Topical therapy for cervical precancer treatment

The purpose of this study is to assess the acceptability of a topical, self- or provider-administered, intravaginal therapy as primary or adjuvant (additional) treatment for cervical precancer among men and women in Kenya. Through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with women and men receiving cervical cancer care and medical care at participating facilities, respectively, we hope to understand how women and men regard the acceptability and potential barriers to topical treatments, which may be used to improve precancer treatment in Kenya and other countries.

Trauma Informed Education Case Study

Trauma informed practices include a wide range of potential policies and actions that schools can implement with the goal of supporting students better. I am interested in further understanding what these practices include and what effect they have on the students and staff at the school. In order to explore these questions, this study focuses on one school's experience with implementing trauma informed educational policies. Interviews with school staff will aid in understanding what these policies look like in practice, as well as their benefits and limitations.
