The purpose of this study is to analyze public opinion on the ethics of human genetic editing. Recent developments in CRISPR Cas9 technology has provided the potential for altering human embryos. There is a lot of controversy on the ethics of this subject. This study aims to poll public opinion and prompt discussion of medical ethics as well as analyze the manner that such subjects are discussed through a critical discourse analysis. Currently, the linguistic study of medical ethical debates is still lacking and this study aims to bridge this gap in knowledge by acting as a model for critical discourse analysis on medical ethics.
Despite their critical role in the success of clinical research studies, the information needs of clinical research study staff are poorly understood. Additionally, few studies have applied user-centered design methodologies to the development or improvement of electronic data capture systems (EDC) in clinical research. This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the information needs of clinical research study staff involved in prospective clinical research studies, and (2) to offer a set of key recommendations for the design of electronic data capture tools used in clinical research.

We are looking to see which platforms are being used most, and if the information influences the treatment they seek out. The study will also allow us to compare how these platforms are used by younger vs older generations.

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of different labels on packaged food and drinks to promote healthy diets in Colombia. In 2016, more than half of Colombian adults were overweight, 22% were obese, and 18% of Colombian youth were overweight. The Colombian government is in the process of implementing warning labels on the front of packages high in added sugar, sodium, and saturated fat to better inform consumers. Research is needed to inform the design of this law.
The purpose of this study is to explore the associations of mental health symptoms on athlete response to injury. This will help athletic trainers, who predominantly deal with athlete injuries, treat the emotional aspect of injuries. It will also help improve how athletic trainers identify athletes at risk for a negative response to injury.
